Description Black Rhodium Minuet XLR Cable The Black Rhodium Minuet XLR Cable has been designed as an ideal cable for use in first systems of audio separates where the superior sound quality attributes of separate units are required. Minuet XLR is screened to further reduce external interference and deliver a more natural sound. It is made from cable manufactured to 110 ohm impedance specification and covered in an attractive black braid that is effective in damping micro-vibrations within the cable and reducing the effects of external vibrations. Minuet XLR is fitted with black rhodium gold plated XLR connectors to prevent tarnishing of the connecting pins causing distortion to the music. As one of Black Rhodium’s new entry-level interconnects, the Minuet boasts a range of features characteristic of the more expensive interconnects in the company’s range. Replacing the Prelude, the Minuet is screened and employs silver-plated copper wire for the signal conductors to improve clarity and high frequency performance. The conductors are insulated with DM-PETM (demagnetising polyethylene), while a conductive layer is incorporated between the insulation and the screen to minimise microphonic noise. The Minuet is terminated with gold-plated ‘hourglass silhouette’ RCA plugs. The green 5.5mm diameter interconnects are available in stereo pairs or in long single runs for connecting to a subwoofer. *Sold as pairs
