Description IsoTek V5 Sirius 16A Power Bar The IsoTek V5 Sirius 16A Power Bar features Isotek’s latest power cleaning technology, which is also used in other Isotek V5 devices. It is said to protect the connected audio system from even the most extreme current spikes and improve its performance via a filter network that cleans the mains power. RFI reduction begins in the listening area, reaching -23dB as low as 10 kilohertz to -60 dB at 1 MHz, according to Isotek. If more than the six output sockets on the power bar – which are independent, i.e. also filtered/buffered against each other –, are needed, a unique “System Link” connector is available to connect additional Isotek devices without affecting grounding. A unique high grade, high amperage mains noise choke based system is combined with a high frequency delta filter network to eliminate of both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise across a wide frequency range. V5 Sirius features KERP © (Kirchoff’s Equal Resistance Path) which ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to all outlets. The internal wiring is unique and specifically designed to offer the highest standards of power delivery, pure 6n oxygen free copper conductor multi but minimal strands with silver-plating designed to offer low resistance and high amperage. An FEP dielectric is then used to protect the conductors offering a low dielectric constance. 54’000 Amps instantaneous yet transient protection system enhances sound as well as protecting precious audio components from dangerous power surges and voltage spikes. The easy resettable fusing system offers a substantial upgrade over a standard ordinary fuse due to increased contact area. By shear virtue of its electrical function a standard fuse must have a very thin wire, this being also true of expensive audiophile grade gold plated versions.
